Many of us tend to be in a constant chase for money. But is this going to make us happy? We tend to be so focused in trying to find new ways of making more money that we forget about living our life. We are so sad when we don’t have enough money to buy the things we wish, or go in the vacations we want. So we end up chasing a modality to become rich because we have in mind the idea that once we have enough money, we will also be happy. Unfortunately, there are many cases of rich people that are miserable, admitting to not being happy, even if they have large mansions, expensive cars, and filled bank accounts. So why is it so?

The happiness offered by money is a shallow one that it usually didn’t last long. Once we manage to accomplish our goal and start earning enough money to make us satisfied, we believe that we reached happiness. We start taking all the things we always wanted, like a bigger house, or a newer car. We finally feel that we have what we deserved, what we fought for. Still, together with the amount of money, our requirements will also grow. Wishing to have more money is just a vicious circle. If you think that you will stop once you reach what you wanted to achieve, you are wrong. Money is something that you will never have enough, and this continues the chase for money will never end. What will happen to you in the end is that you will forget about the things that really matter in life, the ones that bring the true happiness.
